Working to erase the stigma of mental illness and help prevent Suicide

Grants

The Joseph J. Laurencelle Memorial Foundation (JJLMF) provides grants to organizations that are on the front lines fighting mental illness. We look for muscle to push our mission; “working to erase the stigma of mental illness and help prevent suicide”.

We encourage those organizations that fall within the scope above to submit a grant application. The following requirements apply:

  • Be recognized as tax exempt under section section 501(c)(3) or the Internal Revenue code.
  • Deliver mental health education and awareness services to the citizens of Michigan.
  • Submit a complete grant application (from below).
  • Provide latest year’s 990 form.

JJLMF Board meets periodically throughout the year.

Funds are disbursed July 1st – July 31st.

  • Reports of how funds were spent may be requested on any approved grants.
  • Grants are capped at $25,000.00, annually.
