Joseph J. Laurencelle Memorial Foundation (JJLMF) provides grants to organizations that provide mental health awareness and education to the community and advocate for compassionate acceptance of people who have mental illnesses in an effort to erase the stigma mental health has and reduce incidence of suicide.
We encourage those organizations with a program that fall within the scope above to submit a grant application. The following requirements apply:
- Be recognized as tax-exempt under section 501(C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code
- Deliver mental health care and services in Michigan counties of Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties.
- Submit a completed Grant Application (form below)
JJLMF board of director’s meet periodically throughout the year. Completed grant applications will be reviewed on a quarterly basis. If your grant application is approved we may request a report and summary of how funds were spent. You will be notified by mail in a formal grant letter if your application is approved.
